A Cashier / Sales Assistant & Customer Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring smooth retail operations, handling sales transactions, assisting customers with their needs, and maintaining a pleasant shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their shopping experience.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash, card, and digital transactions accurately.
- Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and locating items.
- Stock shelves, display merchandise, and ensure product availability.
- Process returns, exchanges, and issue receipts and refunds where necessary.
- Keep the sales area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Upsell products and promotions to maximize sales.
- Follow all store policies regarding security, safety, and customer service.
