Position Overview:
A Cashier / Sales Assistant & Customer Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring smooth retail operations, handling sales transactions, assisting customers with their needs, and maintaining a pleasant shopping environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their shopping experience.
  • Operate cash registers, handle cash, card, and digital transactions accurately.
  • Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and locating items.
  • Stock shelves, display merchandise, and ensure product availability.
  • Process returns, exchanges, and issue receipts and refunds where necessary.
  • Keep the sales area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Upsell products and promotions to maximize sales.
  • Follow all store policies regarding security, safety, and customer service.

Required Skills:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic math and POS (Point-of-Sale) system knowledge
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
