CUSTOMER ASSISTANT / CASHIER & SALES ASSISTANT – KEY ROLES:

  1. Greeting Customers: Warmly welcome customers and offer help as needed.
  2. Handling Transactions: Operate the cash register, process payments (cash/card), and issue receipts.
  3. Product Assistance: Guide customers in locating products and providing basic product information.
  4. Stock Replenishment: Restock shelves, ensure proper product display, and check for expiries.
  5. Customer Service: Address customer concerns, handle complaints professionally, and ensure satisfaction.
  6. Store Tidiness: Maintain cleanliness in the checkout area and throughout the store.
  7. Promotions & Offers: Inform customers about ongoing sales, discounts, and loyalty programs.
  8. Loss Prevention: Stay alert to prevent theft and report suspicious activity.
  9. Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  10. Daily Reporting: Assist with end-of-day sales reports and cash reconciliation.
