Room Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Bedding: Change bed linens and towels, and make the beds neatly. 
  • Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all surfaces, especially bathrooms. 
  • Dusting & Polishing: Dust furniture and polish surfaces to maintain a clean appearance. 
  • Floors: Vacuum carpets and rugs, and mop floors as needed. 
  • Appliances: Check that all appliances, such as the television and alarm clock, are functioning properly. 

Restocking Supplies & Amenities

  • Toiletries: Replenish bathroom amenities like soap, shampoo, and conditioner. 
  • Beverages: Restock coffee, tea, water bottles, and other food/drink items. 
  • Other Supplies: Ensure that other items, such as towels, sewing kits, and glassware, are available. 

Guest Services & Communication

  • Guest Interaction:Greet guests, answer their questions, and respond promptly to their requests. 
  • Reporting:Report any maintenance issues, lost or found items, or other necessary replacements to the appropriate departments. 

Operational & Safety Responsibilities

  • Security:Follow all hotel security guidelines to maintain guest privacy and safety. 
  • Health & Safety:Adhere to health and safety rules and maintain a safe environment in guest rooms. 
  • Inventory: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of linen closets and manage the supplies on a housekeeping cart.
