Head Sales/ Cashier (Grocery Attendant)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, and helping them find products. 
  • Cash Handling: Processing payments (cash, card, etc.), operating the POS system, and handling cash transactions. 
  • Stocking and Merchandising: Unpacking deliveries, stocking shelves, and arranging displays. 
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the checkout area and surrounding areas tidy. 
  • Sales Assistance: Providing product information, suggesting items, and promoting sales. 

Required Skills:

  • Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with customers and colleagues. 
  • Basic Math Skills: For handling transactions and making change. 
  • Attention to Detail: For accurate cash handling and inventory management. 
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role is often preferred. 
  • Knowledge of POS Systems: Familiarity with operating cash registers and other electronic equipment.
