| Head Sales/ Cashier (Grocery Attendant) |
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, and helping them find products.
- Cash Handling: Processing payments (cash, card, etc.), operating the POS system, and handling cash transactions.
- Stocking and Merchandising: Unpacking deliveries, stocking shelves, and arranging displays.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the checkout area and surrounding areas tidy.
- Sales Assistance: Providing product information, suggesting items, and promoting sales.
Required Skills:
- Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with customers and colleagues.
- Basic Math Skills: For handling transactions and making change.
- Attention to Detail: For accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role is often preferred.
- Knowledge of POS Systems: Familiarity with operating cash registers and other electronic equipment.
